Built for years and years of enjoyment
JDM Outdoor Fireplaces start with a strong 18-guage, U-channel, galvanized steel frame with welded joints to ensure no cracking or settling. Magnesium oxide panel substrate is used for its better heat and moisture resistance, compared to the common cement board.
Safety is a top priority, and our fireplaces use standard double wall flue pipes and metal spark arrestors to keep flames where they should stay.

SITE SELECTION
Choosing the perfect spot for your outdoor fireplace is an essential first step in creating an inviting atmosphere for your backyard. The fireplace should be installed on a level concrete pad or foundation to ensure stability and safety. If your site requires a foundation, we’re happy to provide one for an additional charge. This makes for a more seamless, integrated appearance and provides a reliable base for years to come.
Our outdoor fireplaces can be beautifully incorporated into one of our custom-built pavilions to create a truly remarkable outdoor space. To ensure that you, your family, and your guests can enjoy your fireplace safely and comfortably for many years, your fireplace should not be installed on the east side of any building or structure (due to prevailing wind patterns).
